ORDERING
How do I place an order?
Browse our shop, then call or text us at (202) 754-7573 with the items you want, your delivery address, and your preferred ETA. We’ll confirm your order in minutes.
Is there a minimum order?
Our standard minimum is $50 within DC, and $75 for Maryland and Virginia deliveries. We sometimes run promotions that lower this — check the home page or text us for the latest.
Can I order in advance?
Yes — we accept scheduled orders during our delivery window. Just let us know your preferred drop-off time when you place the order.
How do I check stock or new drops?
Text us at (202) 754-7573 or email budbros77@gmail.com and we’ll send you the live menu with current top-shelf, exotics, and edible inventory.
DELIVERY
How long does delivery take?
Average delivery time is 30–60 minutes depending on your location and traffic. We service DC, parts of Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
What are your hours?
We deliver 7AM – 10PM Everyday. Call or text (202) 754-7573 anytime during our delivery window to place an order.
Where do you deliver?
All 8 wards of Washington DC, plus parts of Maryland (Silver Spring, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Hyattsville, College Park) and Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Crystal City, Falls Church).
Is there a delivery fee?
Most orders qualify for free delivery within DC. Maryland and Virginia deliveries may carry a small distance-based fee — we tell you up front before you confirm.
LEGAL
Is this legal?
Yes. Under DC Initiative 71, adults 21+ can gift cannabis to other adults 21+. Empire Buds DC operates fully within I-71 compliance — you purchase a non-cannabis product and receive cannabis as a complimentary gift.
Do I need to be 21+?
Yes. You must be 21 years or older with a valid government-issued ID. Our driver will verify your ID at the door before completing any transaction.
Can I take this across state lines?
No. Federal law still classifies cannabis as a controlled substance, and crossing state lines with it is a federal crime. Please consume responsibly within DC.
PAYMENT
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and most major payment apps. Please have exact change ready when possible. Our driver will confirm your accepted payment method at the time of order.
Do you accept credit cards?
For most orders, we ask for cash or instant payment apps because traditional card processors do not work for cannabis-adjacent transactions. We are happy to walk you through your options when you order.
Do you take tips?
Tips are never required, but always appreciated by our drivers if you love your experience.

How do I know which strain is right for me?
New to cannabis? Indica strains (like Granddaddy Purple, Northern Lights) are calming, great for sleep. Sativa (Sour Diesel, Jack Herer) is energizing, good for daytime. Hybrids (Wedding Cake, Blue Dream) sit in the middle. Visit our Strains page for a deep guide or text us for a personal recommendation.
Are your products lab-tested?
All of our flower and concentrates come from trusted growers who lab-test for potency, terpenes, and contaminants. We can share specific COAs (certificates of analysis) on request.
Do you carry edibles?
Yes — we carry brownies, gummies, and tinctures regularly. Edible stock rotates, so message us for what is in today.
