PINEAPPLE EXPRESS

“Pineapple Express,” believe it or not, is actually a meteorological term. It indicates strong moisture currents off of Hawaii that extend over the Pacific to the North American coast. In the mid-latitudes of the world, suffice it to say, water vapor is a big deal. Nowadays, the term is more directly associated with the 2008 stoner comedy of the same name, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.
